MozUpdate is an NSIS application that automates the process of downloading, installing, and upgrading Windows builds of Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird.

Note: Unfortunately, MozUpdate has been discontinued as a result of the Mozilla Project’s decision to stop providing .zip versions of Firefox and Thunderbird releases. See this blog post for details.

• Capable of downloading, installing and upgrading the latest stable and nightly builds of Mozilla Firefox and Mozilla Thunderbird.
• Performs clean upgrades while retaining custom plugins and settings (perfect for users who frequently install nightly builds).
• Allows you to choose between branch and trunk builds for nightlies.
• Optionally creates Start Menu, Desktop, and Quick Launch bar shortcuts.
• Keeps itself up-to-date automatically. Mozilla build information and download URLs are retrieved from the MozUpdate website, and MozUpdate will give you the option of automatically upgrading if a newer version of itself is available.
